Are
you dreaming of getting married on a private South Pacific
island? Exchanging your marriage vows under swooping coconut
palm trees, on a white sandy beach, with the waves gently
rolling on to the beach in the background? Lissenung Island
Resort is the perfect setting for your wedding dreams.

Located
just 2 degrees south of the Equator, the small and very
private island is covered in lush tropical plants and flowers.
For the decoration of the tables and ceremony area we use
local flowers and traditional bilas, made by the local ladies
from the neighbouring island.

Your
wedding banquet can be as simple or as exclusive as you
wish. Local produce such as fresh lobster, mud crabs, fish,
vegetables and fruits can be served either buffet-style
or as a 3-course menu.
You
can chose one of our suggested menus or suggest your own.
Just one thing to be aware of is the fact that PNG is still
a developing country and some of the ingredients used in
our meals are imported. Not everything that is readily available
in the western world is so easily come by here.

A
professional photographer is at hand to document every moment
of your special day. Mike, from Texas, has captured many
brides and grooms and he can offer a variety of options,
be it prints, images burned on disc etc.
